Welcome to Life Groups and Life Classes 2025 where "We Grow In Community."

Welcome to one of the most important aspects of your walk with God – discipleship and spiritual development.  Here at New Life we believe that Discipleship happens best in the context of “community”.  According to Acts 2:42-47, the early church was deeply engaged in developing their spiritual experience with Christ within the confines of community with other believers.  Life Groups and Life Classes are designed to immerse you in a healthy community of loving, Christ-followers who are committed to seeing every member of the family grow and blossom.  It this kind of community that allows us to not only learn with each other, but to also learn ‘from’ each other.

This principle is true in all areas of life.  We become better, when we are together.  Life Groups and Life Classes are the way New Life comes together to help make each one of us better.  Better at Life. Better at Home. Better at Work. Better at Following Christ.  This journey is our journey.  Let’s walk it together.

Registration for Life Classes and Life Groups begins on March 31st. The first session begins April 7, 2025.

BLACK CHURCH HISTORY

Early Christianity in North America

The North African church became further established and unified through the regular councils of its bishops. Finally, the church gained a reputation for its outstanding leaders-Tertullian of Carthage (c. 140-220), Cyprian of Carthage (195-258), and Augustine of Hippo (354-430) - African leaders who continued to be celebrated and remembered today.
