Welcome to Life Classes and Life Groups 2026

Welcome to a key aspect of your walk with God – discipleship and spiritual development.  At New Life, we believe discipleship thrives in community.

Acts 2:42-47 shows the early church was deeply engaged in spiritual growth alongside other believers.  Life Groups and Life Classes immerse you in a healthy community of loving Christ-followers dedicated to nurturing each member's growth.  This community enables us to learn 'with' and ‘from’ each other.

We become better when we are together.  Life Groups and Life Classes are how New Life comes together to help make each of us better.  Better at Life. Better at Home. Better at Work. Better at Following Christ.  Let’s walk this journey together.

New Courses will be available throughout the year. Be sure to check this webpage during the year and sign up for a Life Class at any time. Please use the registration link to sign up for classes offered during Session 1 (Spring) May 3 - June 27, 2026.

Life Class Title: Explore The Bible: I & II Timothy and Titus (Click Here to Register)

Description:  This class takes a look at the Apostle Paul's letters to Timothy and Titus focusing on the reason for the letters, the themes, and their relationship to Paul. Timothy, as Paul's young protégé, was serving as a pastor in the Church at Ephesus. The letters to him address various aspects of ministry and leadership, urging him to maintain faithfulness to the gospel and to equip other leaders. I Timothy focuses on leadership within the church, while II Timothy emphasizes the importance of remaining steadfast in faith and facing persecution. Titus served as a church leader in Crete. Paul instructs him on how to establish and maintain healthy churches on the island, emphasizing the importance of sound doctrine and good works. The letter highlights the need for godly leadership, with Paul outlining qualifications for elders, and encourages believers to live lives that reflect their faith in Christ. Life Class Title: Explore The Bible: I & II Peter and Jude (Click Here to Register)

Description: This class explores the letters of Peter and Jude, their messages, the historical context, and how and why they are different from the letters of Paul. I and II Peter are written by the Apostle Peter with I Peter focusing on encouraging Christians to remain faithful and persevere during times of persecution, emphasizing their identity as "chosen exiles." II Peter warns against false teachers and encourages believers to grow in their faith, emphasizing the importance of faith, virtue, and love. Both of Peter's letters address the challenges faced by the early church and offer guidance for navigating those challenges. The main message of the book of Jude is to "earnestly content for the faith" that was once entrusted to the saints. Similar to Peter, Jude warns of the dangers of false teachers who have infiltrated the church and perverted the grace of God into a license for immorality. Jude emphasizes the importance of building up faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, and keeping oneself in the love of God.

Description:  This class surveys the letters of the apostle John, believed to be the longest living apostle. They are collectively known as the Johannine Epistles, short letters emphasizing the love of God, the importance of faith in Jesus Christ, and the need to discern truth from falsehood. I John is a pastoral letter dealing with doctrine and Christian living, focusing on the love of God and the forgiveness of sin. II John is a more personal exhortation to a house church, warning against false teachers who deny Jesus' humanity. III John is a personal letter to Gaius, praising his hospitality and urging him to support traveling missionaries. The three letters give insight into Church as it transitions into the second century.
