Kidz Citi (ages 5-12)

Kidz Citi provides a Christian foundation and curriculum for children involving innovative, exciting, creative, and interactive activities in a warm , welcoming, and enriching environment.  Kidz Citi is a high energy and fun setting that focuses on presenting the powerful truths of the Bible to children through a variety of engaging experiences.

Kidz Citi is committed to teaching children about God and His love for them through Jesus Christ.  Our goal is to partner with parents in facilitating a child’s growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Kidz Citi Curriculum provides the framework for the monthly theme, Sunday lessons and Wednesday Bible Study.  The monthly theme with specific lessons for each Sunday of the month is designed with a child-centered focus.  The Sunday and Wednesday services involve engaging experiences implemented through large and small-group activities.  The multi-faceted activities are developmentally appropriate with a designated focus on the monthly theme and enriching lessons and events aligned with the Kidz Citi curriculum.

Kidz Citi offers a discipleship class entitled, “Simple Steps”.  Simple Steps is designed to provide guidance to children who have taken a step toward Christ by expressing a sincere desire to accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.  The Simple Steps curriculum is Christian-based and includes the following topical areas: (1) How To Become A Christian, (2) Baptism, (3) The Lord’s Supper, and (4) The Church. The curriculum also includes six designated steps:

• Step 2: Your Sins Get In The Way
• Step 3: Jesus Gets Rid Of Sin
• Step 4: Accept Jesus
• Step 5: What To Pray
• Step 6: God’s Gift To You

Volunteers have an opportunity to serve in Kidz Citi in a variety of capacities/areas including the following:

Kidz Citi Volunteer Orientation

Orientation sessions are held for new Kidz Citi Volunteers. The sessions include an overview of the Kidz Citi experience, volunteer roles/descriptions, Kidz Citi curriculum special events, and operational functions.

Sunday Services:  9:00am & 11:30am Worship Services
Wednesday Bible Study: 7:00pm

Sign-In/Pick-Up Procedures:
The Sign-in/Pick-Up process takes place at the Kidz City site.  Upon signing in, children and parents/guardians are given a corresponding (matching) identification number on a security band.  Children are released to parents/guardians through the corresponding identification number during the pick-up period.

Contacting Parents/Guardians During Service(s):
Parents/Guardians are contacted via cellular phone.  We therefore ask that parents/guardians have their cellular phones accessible in the event that they need to be contacted during the service.
